A specialized academic lecture was held for students enrolled in the Procurement and Supply Chain Management course as part of the course activities. The lecture was organized by Dr. Lubna Baqleh, the course instructor, in cooperation with the Department of Business Administration at Yarmouk University. The session hosted Mr. Nabil Al-Janaideh, Director of the Supplies and Procurement Department at the University, as the keynote speaker.
During the lecture, Mr. Al-Janaideh discussed the concept of procurement and its strategic role within institutions, as well as the stages of supply chain management and their importance in enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing costs. He also shared insights drawn from his professional experience, supported by practical examples from real workplace practices.
The lecture witnessed active engagement and constructive discussion with the students, during which theoretical concepts were linked with practical applications, contributing to strengthening students’ knowledge and preparing them for the requirements of the labor market.
