

The Faculty of Business at Yarmouk University, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Jordan, organized an educational seminar to mark the Arab Financial Inclusion Day. The event witnessed broad participation from the Faculty’s students as well as representatives from several banking and financial institutions.
The seminar featured participation from the Arab Islamic International Bank, Safwa Islamic Bank, Cairo Amman Bank, and the Jordan Deposit Insurance Corporation. Representatives of the participating institutions delivered a series of specialized presentations and awareness sessions.
The Dean of the Faculty of Business, Professor Yahya Melhem, emphasized that organizing such activities aligns with the Faculty’s vision of enhancing students’ financial and banking awareness and expanding their understanding of contemporary economic issues. He also praised the fruitful cooperation with the Central Bank of Jordan and the participating banking institutions.
The sessions addressed several important topics, including the concepts of financial inclusion, awareness of financial fraud and cybercrime risks, anti-money laundering measures, and the importance of financial literacy among young people and university students.
