Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Business at Yarmouk University, Professor Dr. Yahya Melhem, the Faculty’s Social Committee organized a ceremony today, Wednesday 12/11/2025, to honor a group of former colleagues who previously worked at the Faculty, in appreciation of their dedication and sincere efforts throughout their years of service.

In his address during the ceremony, the Dean expressed his pride in his colleagues who contributed to building the reputation of the Faculty of Business and strengthening its academic and administrative standing. He emphasized that this gathering reflects the Faculty’s policy of fostering a spirit of belonging and appreciation among its members, and of acknowledging the efforts made by colleagues in serving the Faculty and the University.

The honored colleagues, in turn, expressed their happiness with this generous gesture, commending the Faculty’s initiative to celebrate its former colleagues and affirming that such initiatives reflect the atmosphere of warmth and cooperation that characterizes the Faculty of Business community.

The ceremony, which was held in the Faculty of Business hospitality hall, included a segment dedicated to honoring the awardees, followed by friendly conversations and a luncheon attended by members of the academic and administrative staff, in an atmosphere marked by cordiality and appreciation.
