

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Business at Yarmouk University, Professor Dr. Yahya Melhem, the Department of Business Administration organized a scientific seminar on Tuesday, 25/11/2025, entitled “Circular Economy Skills and Their Relationship with Business Organizations.” The seminar was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Naji and Mr. Sufian Malkawi, and moderated by the Head of the Department, Dr. Ammar Alawneh.
The seminar addressed key contemporary concepts related to the circular economy, highlighting the most important skills required by business organizations to transition toward sustainable economic models. It also presented practical applications that can be adopted by local institutions to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
The speakers emphasized the importance of raising awareness among students and professionals in the business sector regarding the principles of the circular economy, given its significant role in improving institutional performance, reducing resource waste, and strengthening competitive advantage in markets.
The seminar was organized by the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Business and was attended by a number of faculty and administrative staff members, as well as students interested in the field.
